Due to COVID-19, all visitors to our building must:
  • Wear a mask if unvaccinated. Masks are encouraged for anyone who wishes to wear one.
  • Use hand sanitizer as necessary
  • Maintain proper physical distance whenever possible
  • We strongly encourage all visitors to be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19.

Our Doors & HEarts are Open

We welcome all who would like to worship and grow in faith and fellowship with us. We go forth into our community to share Christ's love with many who need a sign of hope.

Sacred Seeds

On this, the eve of the anniversary of the founding of our country, the United States of America, I’ve been pondering a few things:

Where, do you think, does the expression of the love of our country fit in the context of our worship of God?

Where does the constructive criticism of our country belong?

Does the love of country ever overshadow the love of God?  Should it?

How does the experience of a war veteran inform their understanding of God and country in comparison to those who have not served?

Are there ways that both experiences can be respected, honored, and acknowledged?

I offer these words and questions today in order to plant some Sacred Seeds among us. If, in the miracle that is our lives, you find something that grows from it, let me know!  Amen.
