Our Mission Work
We are a congregation with a history and commitment to reaching out to share Christ's love and compassion in our community and in the world. We support ministries and organizations through financial, material, and if possible, hands-on work. We work with many organizations locally, nationally, and internationally.
Current Mission Initiatives
With the rising costs of... everything, the Mission Committee has renewed its collection of canned goods and other non-perishable items to benefit the Interreligious Food Consortium, which supplies many food pantries in the area. We have orange grocery bags that can be filled and returned each Communion Sunday. There's even a helpful list of items useful to food pantries printed right on it!
Bottles to Benefit Youth
We have several containers throughout our building to collect bottles and cans with the $0.05 deposit. We use funds collected from the bottle returns for missions that benefit youth. Feel free to drop off any bottles and cans in our bottle and can bins. If they're already bagged, please place them beside the containers. The easiest one to find is at the top of the stairs to the right when you enter our main center door.
Our Monthly Mission Collection for March supports the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance initiatives for recovery from the earthquakes in Turkey and Iran.
